Visions, dreams and realities in the modern city.
2nd December 2008, 6 – 8.30 pm, Laing Art Gallery, New Bridge Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8AG
Can you have a vision for the future of a city, or do visions build nightmares and ignore day-to-day needs and realities? How has Newcastle been shaped by previous generations of visionaries? Does the city have a vision for its future, and if so who made this and who shares this?

Designing for life - In autumn 2007 Northern Architecture's popular event series returned, this time looking at the key issue of sustainability within the design of buildings and spaces in the North East.
