Culture North East (CNE) the regional cultural consortium for the North East of England, is seeking to appoint up to 5 new members to its Board. CNE is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body and a Company Limited by Guarantee, sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS).
Candidates will:
- Have a passion for North East England and its culture;
- Be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of wider regional development issues;
- Bring a good track record of partnership working, networking, leadership and negotiation;
- Be able to demonstrate creativity and innovation of thought, and a have a strategic vision for cultural development in the region;
- Be committed to supporting CNE and its Chair in delivering our aims and objectives.
CNE is committed to strengthening its role as DCMS’ regional strategic advisory body for culture, to generating ideas that will inform, enhance and sustain the cultural life of the region and to adding real value to the cultural sector in the North East.
