The Beamish Seven
Seven practices have now been shortlisted in the competition to build a new visitor centre for Beamish Open Air Museum, County Durham.
The practices are Benson & Forsyth, Niall McLaughlin, De Matos Storey Ryan, Hodder Associates, Kengo Kuma, MacCormac Jamieson Prichard and Edward Cullinan Architects. It is hoped the £6 million contemporary building project will establish Beamish as an international attraction.
