This paper presents observations, drawing on evidence from the people that are funding, delivering and supporting these 17 projects testing out innovative ways of building co-operation, collaboration and action within their communities. The paper identifies both the common features of their approach and what is distinctive about how they apply their methods. It also maps their activities against a process of change to illustrate how their approaches are enabling community-led activities and solutions to develop.
