Public Realm Design Ideas Competition
This design ideas competition for the public realm around the Queen Victoria Road and Richardson Road area of Newcastle is part of NE1 ‘s programme of improving urban spaces/ pocket parks in and around Newcastle city centre. Competition entries are invited from individuals or teams of North East based young designers, architects, landscape architects and students under 34. The project brief requires a proposal for the entire area in strategic terms: a master planning proposal, and a detailed design proposal for a smaller site or space.
Deadline for registration for this competition was Monday 6th January. Registration is now closed.
Deadline for submissions is 13th February 2012.
