21 teams enter NE1 QVR Design Ideas Competition

Twenty one teams made up of 45 young architects, landscape architects, designers and students from across the North East have registered to submit entries to the NE1 Queen Victoria Road Public Realm Design Ideas Competition.
This design ideas competition for the public realm around the Queen Victoria Road and Richardson Road area of Newcastle is part of NE1 ‘s programme of improving urban spaces/ pocket parks in and around Newcastle city centre.
The deadline for submissions is Monday 13th February 2012 and the winners will be publically announced in our March e-bulletin.
