Education @ Northern Architecture
At Northern Architecture we firmly believe that encouraging children and young people to look, question and think creatively about their built environment has valuable educational benefits, both in terms of the National Curriculum and beyond. Through offering programmes of work that develop the ability to understand, explore and design architecture we can help to address nearly all aspects of the curriculum in a meaningful and unique way, as well as helping children and young people to develop their cultural and social awareness.
To support the delivery of our programmes, we aim to work in partnership with other organisations and individuals. Through careful planning, we ensure that our educational activities support a range of curriculum subjects and education agendas across a range of age groups.
Workshops & Projects
We offer a diverse programme of educational activities, including outreach workshops, site visits and longer-term projects according to a school or organisation’s individual needs. Resources
We are currently developing a range of resources. Available FREE as downloadable PDFs, the resources will enable us to support a wider community of educators who are interested in working on projects linked to architecture and the built environment.

Developing New Projects & Project Management
We can also use our expernience of developing and delivering high quality programmes to help others plan, develop and deliver one-off, pilot or research projects.
