Recruitment

Changemakers

Northern Architecture are working in partnership with Changemakers (a youth leadership charity), to recruit a young person, ages 16-25, to lead a project within Northern Architecture to engage and empower young people and community members in an Urban Redevelopment Project. The project will also support us to engage more effectively with young people. We will recognise the importance of listening to, communicating and involving young people into our work, but we need your support!

Do you want to…

Influence how an organisation engages young people through leading your own project?

Develop skills and experience?

Become a young leader?

Meet other inspirational young people from across the country?

Get paid to do all of the above!

As part of the Changemakers Organisational Development Programme you will have the opportunity to learn and develop alongside young people with the same passion, drive and commitment as you. If your application to join the programme is successful, you will need to be available to attend a residential from the 15th-19th October 2011 – the dates for this residential are fixed so unfortunately we wont be able to change it.

So, what do you think? Do you want to be a changemaker?

G.R.A.D - Graduate Retention and Development - is a project we are supporting alongside Plus 3 Architecture, Newcastle University and Northumbria University that is for part 1 or part 2 architecture students that haven't been able to get work in practice in their year out or on graduation because of the economic climate. If you'd be interested in getting involved in the project, please visit the archiGRAD website and email Carol to find out more.
