Make Your Mark Project: Scotswood

Northern Architecture has started a 6 month intergenerational engagement project in Scotswood with funding from the Make Your Mark programme from Newcastle City Council. Young people from ‘next door’ together with NA staff have started exploring the large open space opposite the Pink Palace on Armstrong Road. Further events will include workshops and activities with young people and older residents working together and separately to discuss, explore and make changes to the outside spaces around the temporary accommodation of Scotswood Area Strategy, Scotswood Diner and the GP surgery.
