This exhibition with accompanying events and activities are brought to you by Newcastle University and Tyne & Wear Archive & Museum that will be held in the Great North Museum Hancock from the 12th March - 14th April. The Great North Build gives you the chance to answer this question by helping to design and build a model town. This fun, thought-provoking and highly interactive Lego exhibition will give visitors an opportunity to shape their ideal town. This exhibition offers something for all ages – there will be an area for under 5s learning to make their first Duplo building, and a dedicated building design space where you can create your most imaginative structures!
Developed with experts in Newcastle University’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, this exhibition aims to give visitors an insight into the latest developments in urban design and experience the issues faced by today’s town planners.
